    Curia Julia Empty Curia Julia

Post  Offensive Bias Tue Jun 29, 2010 5:26 pm

The Senate gather to meet in the Curia Julia. Whenever the Curia Julia is updated, all Roman players are expected to read. Here, missions are decided, laws passed, titles granted and rewards gifted. Here is also listed the current government.

The Senate is currently governed by the Military Faction.

    Political attraction

Military faction: 70 - The people realise that only by military means can they stop the Greek invasion.

Mercantile faction: 0 - Trade is the least of their concerns at the moment.

Populist faction: 15 - There is some call for the Populists to come and keep the people happy. But this is largely ignored.

Religious faction: - 30 - People are beginning to turn for the Religious faction. But the majority think that omens and portents aren't important at the minute.

*The Senate stands are in uproar*

"Romans, Romans! Settle down! We must stop this Greek invasion. Magna Graecia to the South is a threat, and now we have word that Epirus plans to send an army to aid them! We must take Magna Graecia as fast as possible to deny the Epirots an easy landing! I believe that we can task Marcus with this. He has a formidable force of men!"

*Your orders are clear, Magna Graecia must be destroyed!

    (Mission given to Gauz)

Reward: Magna Graecia incorporated into your territories, praise from the Senate.

Bonus reward: If Magna Graecia is destroyed before Phyrrus lands, some of your characters will be considered for Senate positions.
