You should assign your characters to positions. To do this, simply make a post in your nation thread stating your action, and then place your character wherever his new position is on the nation thread. For example, assigning a Governor would work like this: (Using Rome as an example) The most high and noble Senate had decided that Fabricius Cornelius Junus is to govern Region 09, Roma!
After that, you would edit your nation thread to show the following:
Regions: 09, Roma (Governed by Fabricius Cornelius Junus).
For assigning to a military role you would make a similar post on your nation thread, regarding a character taking control of an army. You can assign characters to regiments singularly, or attatch your ENTIRE army under one commander. Just edit the post so it shows:
1st Roman Legion (Commanded by Fabricius Cornelius Junus) and you can also do the same for other regiments if they are commanding more than one.
After that, you would edit your nation thread to show the following:
Regions: 09, Roma (Governed by Fabricius Cornelius Junus).
